Raj Gosai - Two Tone Artist and former pupil at Cleobury.
Raj Gosai was born in Coventry in 1958, after hi parents emigrated from India to Coventry in 1955. He attended the City of Coventry Boarding School and studied art 'A' Level at Coventry Technical College, whereupon he met future illustrator, Nick Davies who created the classic 2 tone spoof; "The Specials Illustrated Songbook" and has remained friends ever since. Whilst studying art at The Lanchester Polytechnic (now Coventry University) he completed his Art Foundation year and made friends with Jane Davies (then partner of Neol Davies of Selecter), Toby Lyons (of Swinging Cats and Colourfield fame) as they too were studying at the same location.
